dividing clusters of bulbs

Flower bulbs that propagate naturalized narcissiquickly produce large clusters of bulbs. When these clusters become too large, their individual bulbs do not grow as well. After the leaves wither back, dig up the clusters of bulbs and divide them by hand into smaller clumps. Distribute the bulbs and replant them. This will promote naturalising on a larger scale.
